Dr. Akua N. Zenzele is a Naturopathic Doctor and received her training at the Herbal Healer Academy in Mt. View, AR. She has been studying and using natural medicine for over a decade. Dr. Akua is certified and accredited by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification and Accreditation Board and is a Certified Traditional Naturopath. She is certified in Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, Iridology, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Reflexology, Massage Principles, Homeopathy, Acupressure, Vibrational/Hands-on Healing, and Colon Hydrotherapy.

Dr. Akua is a member of the American Naturopathic Medical Association, the American Association of Nutritional Consultants, the National Association of Certified Natural Health Professionals, the International Network for Alternative and Intuitive Therapies, and is a Lifetime Member of the Herbal Healer Academy, Inc. She is a member of the Advisory Committee for the Complimentary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) Program in the School of Community Health and Policy at Morgan State University. She is also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

In addition to being the Founder/Director of the Natural Path Holistic Wellness Center, LLC, Dr. Akua is the Co-Founder/President of the Natural Path to Wellness Foundation, Inc. a non-profit organization committed to promoting naturopathic, holistic and spiritual healing along with African Mission Work. Dr. Akua is also the Proprietor/Chief Herbalist of Herbal Creations by Akua, a manufacturer of hand-crafted herbals for the skin, hair and bath.

Dr. Akua holds a M.S. in Criminal Justice and Criminology from University of Baltimore and a B.A. in Sociology from Howard University. She has worked in the fields of education, research, counseling, public safety, and program development.

Dr. Akua is also a traditional priest in the Akan Spiritual System, an African Traditional Religion. Known as Nana Akua Baakan Mossi, she utilizes her spirituality to assist or facilitate in the healing of others. Her years of priesthood training has allowed her to learn more about the power of prayer, healing herbs, nature, cleansing/purification, and the healing power within.
